It also makes the work feel more meaningful by scratching the itch in the creative side of my brain. You don't get that same sense of being "in the dirt" together when you're working a corporate job. Sometimes, there's that sentiment in office jobs, too, but it's a different kind of dirt when you're working these physical labor jobs.

Ohio's attorney general said last year that Dollar General overcharged customers for items like groceries. Under the settlement, Dollar General will pay $750,000 to the office of Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost. Sophia Giraldo, 41, is hospitalized at New York Presbyterian Hospital in Queens after she was struck by an SUV Tuesday. A criminal complaint alleges that her husband, Stephen Giraldo, hit her with his vehicle and then stabbed her. Their three young boys, ages 11, 9, and 6, were in the SUV at the time but were not injured. Stephen Giraldo was arraigned Wednesday on charges of attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child. She also hosted "The Unfiltered and Free Podcast with Sophia Giraldo."
